FAQ
Everything sellers and 3PL merchants ask before and after they join. If your question is not here, contact us — the same answers come back faster on WhatsApp.
Getting started
What is ATSUM KSA?
A dropshipping and third-party logistics platform for Saudi Arabia. Sellers list our stock in their own stores and we pick, pack and deliver every order under their name. Merchants hand us their stock and we warehouse it and fulfil their orders for them. Both run through the same portal, the same catalog and the same delivery network.
What is the difference between a Seller and a Merchant?
A Seller owns no stock. You choose products from our catalog, set your own selling price, and place the order when your customer buys — we hold, pack and ship the goods. A Merchant owns the stock. You send it to our warehouse, we store it, list it and fulfil the orders that come in for it. If you are marketing and selling, you are a Seller. If you are supplying and need logistics, you are a Merchant.
How do I register?
Pick Become a Seller or Become a Merchant on the home page and complete the form. You will be asked for your contact and business details, your WhatsApp number, and the bank account your payouts should go to. Verify your email with the six-digit code we send, and your application goes to an administrator for review.
How long does approval take?
Usually one business day. We verify your business details and your contact numbers before opening the catalog — for a Merchant that includes checking the business is real and registered. You are notified by email and SMS either way, and until the decision is made your account sits on a holding screen rather than a dead end.
What are the Store Code and Reference ID?
Two identifiers issued the moment your application is approved. The Store Code identifies your account across the warehouse and the courier; the Reference ID prefix is how your own order numbers are built, so an order you know as your #1041 is traceable on our side too. Both appear in the approval email and on your Settings screen, and both are the columns you fill in a bulk order CSV.
Is there a setup fee or a monthly charge?
No. Registration, approval and the portal are free, and there is no subscription. You pay the cost of the goods plus a flat 30 SAR delivery charge per order — both shown at checkout before you confirm anything.
Products and pricing
Why can't I see prices before I am approved?
Product costs are commercially sensitive — they are what your competitors would most like to know. The catalog is browsable but the numbers stay hidden until your account is approved, at which point every product page shows its base price, delivery cost, landed cost and a suggested selling price.
How is my profit calculated?
Profit on a dropship order is the cash your customer pays on delivery, minus what the goods cost you, minus the flat 30 SAR delivery charge. Nothing else is deducted at the point of sale. The checkout screen calculates it live as you enter the COD amount, and the figure it shows is the figure written to the order.
Can I place an order that loses money?
No. If the COD amount does not cover the goods and the delivery charge, checkout will not let the order through, and the same rule rejects that row in a bulk CSV upload. Breaking even is allowed; losing money on delivery is not.
Who sets the selling price?
You do, on every order. We publish a suggested selling price built from the landed cost plus a default margin, but it is a suggestion — override it and the cost breakdown recalculates your real margin as you type, including warning you if you have gone below landed cost.
Do I pay VAT?
Yes. VAT is charged at 15% on what ATSUM sells you, and every order produces a purchase invoice showing it. Your invoices are on the Purchase Invoices screen and can be downloaded as PDFs at any time. What you charge your own customer, and the VAT on it, is between you and them.
Orders, delivery and returns
How long does dispatch and delivery take?
Most orders dispatch within 0–1 days and reach the customer in 2–3 days. Dispatch time is per product, not per platform: each product page states its own window, from same-day up to 3+ days, and a cart mixing products dispatches on the slowest of them.
Where do you deliver?
Across all regions of Saudi Arabia. Remote and outlying areas can add a day or two to the standard window. Cross-border GCC fulfilment is handled case by case — contact us before you promise it to a customer.
How does my customer pay?
Cash on delivery. The courier collects the amount you entered on the order, and that COD amount is what your profit is calculated from. Card, Mada and Apple Pay are supported on our own storefront checkout, but dropship orders you place on behalf of a customer settle in cash on delivery.
How do I track an order?
Every order is on your Orders screen from placement through to delivery. Your customer can track it themselves on the Track Order page using either the order number or the Saudi mobile number on the order — no account needed.
Can I upload many orders at once?
Yes. Bulk Upload Orders takes a CSV of up to 1,000 rows and 2 MB. The file is validated before anything is created, and you are shown line by line which rows have a problem — a bad SKU, a non-Saudi mobile number, a COD amount that does not cover the cost. Good rows import; bad rows are skipped rather than guessed at.
Can I connect my own store?
Shopify is connected from the Integrations screen: authorise your store once and you can push any catalog product straight into it as a draft, so you set your own price before publishing. WooCommerce and a direct REST API are on the way.
What happens if the customer refuses the parcel or cannot be reached?
The courier attempts delivery, and if it fails the parcel comes back to our warehouse and the order is marked undelivered. You are not invoiced for goods that never reached the customer — an undelivered order carries no goods cost. A 10 SAR return charge covers the delivery leg, and it is deducted from your balance.
What if the order comes back after it was delivered?
The order is marked returned. The profit that had accrued on it is reversed and the 10 SAR return charge applies. If that profit had already been paid out to you, the amount is clawed back against your next payout rather than billed to you — a clawback is never an invoice.
Payouts
When do I get paid?
Your first payment is released 14 days after the order is delivered. That hold is standard: a delivered parcel can still come back, and the wait is what turns a return into a deduction rather than a debt. Occasionally a payment carries an additional hold — while a verification is outstanding, or while a return-related check on an order is still open. Once your first payment has gone out you move onto the regular schedule: payments run once a week on a fixed day, and we confirm that day with you on WhatsApp.
What is the minimum payout threshold?
100 SAR. Profit accrues as your orders are delivered and clears 14 days later; once the cleared balance reaches 100 SAR it is paid on the next scheduled run. Below that nothing moves — the balance simply carries forward, it is never lost. Your dashboard shows all three figures: what is still clearing, what is available, and what has been paid to date.
Why does my dashboard show a pending amount that I cannot withdraw?
Pending is profit on delivered orders that is still inside the 14-day hold. It becomes available on its own, order by order, as each one clears. Available is what the next payout will actually pay.
Where is the money sent, and can I change the account?
To the bank account on your Settings screen — bank name, account title and IBAN. You can change it yourself at any time and the change takes effect immediately, with no approval step. Change it before a payout run, not after: each payout statement records the account the money actually went to at the time.
What record do I get of a payout?
Every payout gets a numbered statement listing each order it paid for, the earnings, the deductions and the net amount, downloadable as a PDF from your Payouts screen. Where a bank transfer receipt has been attached, it is on the same row.
Account and support
I forgot my password.
Use Forgot password on the sign-in screen. We email a six-digit code to the address on your account; enter it with your new password and you are back in. The code expires after 15 minutes. Changing your password signs you out on every device, including the one you changed it on.
How do I change my email address or mobile number?
Both are on your Settings screen. Changing your email signs you out into email verification until you confirm the new address — that is deliberate, since the email address is what recovers the account.
Something has gone wrong with an order. What do I do?
Raise a ticket from the Support screen and attach the order to it. Tickets are tracked and answered in the portal, so the history stays attached to the order rather than scattered across chat. For anything urgent, WhatsApp is faster.
How do I contact ATSUM?
WhatsApp and phone on +966 59 114 8144, or email theatsum@gmail.com. We reply within one business day, usually much sooner.
